One day my three-year-old son picked up this book from the library.
He just pulled it randomly off the shelf
and I am so glad he did - it was awesome.
We both loved it.
It is witty. it has monsters.
so when his birthday came around it seemed the perfect book to base a birthday party on.
(I blacked out parts of the photos of the pages
so I don't get slapped with a, you know, violation)
The birthday boy loved it.
and the most rewarding part was the way he recognized all the parts of the book in the cake!
